The party started at 5pm in the office where we had wine and log cake and gift exchange. We were creating quite a bit of noise in the mortuary-like office.

The gift exchange was fun, even though each of us probably received a useless gift. haha. In the gift that Ben bought, there were 3 items, one of which was a solar clock in the shape of a bathtub with a girl in it, legs sticking out. And the legs actually will sway when you place it under light. Funny. Ben said he actually thought of Hengky when he bought that thing, so it ended up with Hengky.
After the party in the office, we went to Vivo Modesto's for dinner. Can't believe the jam from the office to Vivo was so bad we took about 20 minutes to get there (our office is so near Vivo!). Then we realised it was the official opening of Vivo. No wonder.
We split table at Modesto's cos there was a long queue and to wait for a table for a big group like ours it will take forever. Halfway through dinner, fireworks were released at the waterfront. And it lasted for quite long. Quite wasted that we didn't go out to take a look, cos Modesto's is just along the waterfront.
After dinner, we went over to Mono at St James for KTV. haha. It was fun. We even managed to get Ben to sing something. Jeffrey also sang some Hokkien songs. So funny. It was a good night. A good early Christmas party. It's a pity that I will be in a different group as them after the re-org. Will miss hanging out with them and crashing all the functions and parties that they have.
